2017 Summer Camps and Programs

Our Summer Camps are always very popular. Here are some of the many highlights:

  • Award-winning camps led by Director of Instruction is Neil Thompson, recipient of the Dixie Section of the PGA's Teacher of the Year Award in 2011 and Player Development Award in 2014. He has also been named an Honorable Mention for U.S. Kids Top 50 National Junior Teacher of the Year for 2011 and 2012.
  • All camps taught by qualified PGA golf professionals; who teach junior golfers year round.
  • Camps based on age and ability; age ranges typically 5-15.
  • Fun, age-appropriate atmosphere.
  • Camps are Tuesday-Friday with Fridays play days. Accompany your junior on the course with prizes following play.
  • All equipment and fees included in price.
  • Multiple-week sign up and sibling discounts offered.‚Äč
  • Eligible to register for our Summer Program and play all summer.
  • Heatherwood Hills CC offered as second venue for camps.


"My son Tyler started coming to Neil's camp two years ago as a novice golfer. He now comes year round and has improved dramatically. He drags me along to the course and his younger sister is now loving the game and attending too. Summer Camp dates and times:

June 13-16

June 27-30 (additional camp offered at Heatherwood Hills CC)

July 11-14

July 18-21 (additional camp offered at Heatherwood Hills CC)

July 25-28.


Ages 10-16 8-9:45 am Tuesday - Thursday

Ages 5-9 10-11:45 am Tuesday - Thursday 

Friday is Play Day! We all play the course and adults are encouraged to accompany the juniors. Following play we will meet in the clubhouse for the prizegiving. Both age groups will meet at 7:45am, start play at 8am, play 9 holes with prize giving around 10:30am.


$150 per camp

$125 returnee from a previous year or current year

$240 per pair of juniors or signing a junior for 2 camps

$150 for the summer program add-on

Summer Program Register

This is an add-on to any summer camp attendee at Oxmoor Valley. The benefits are throughout June and July:

  • Unlimited play on the Short Course
  • A daily small bucket of range balls
  • Attend weekly Saturday lessons
  • A season ending competition for summer program attendees

You can sign up at any time to get these benefits. If you do not have to attend the camp first before you attend the Saturday lessons or practice at the range or play the Short Course.

Advanced Players Camps Register

These are designed for the Tournament Players. Sharpen up your skills for the summer season of competitions. Taught by PGA professionals with a track record of developing junior tournament winners and competitors. Must be at least TPI Junior program Blue Hat level.

  • Learn games that make practice fun and challenging
  • Utilise technology to hone your game 
  • Develop a better understanding of your misses and how to fix them
  • On course lessons to help with management of your game  
  • Ages typically 10-17, but can be younger based on level of ability

Advanced Players Camp dates and times:

Tuesday, June 20th - Friday, June 23rd.

Ages 10-18 8-11:45am


$200 per junior
